Great service and care from lovely hard working people. Top respect to you all.
I was left in A&E for 58 hours with a spinal injury, I was left on a recliner chair, we was offed 3 drinks all day and a sandwich even though I was admitted, the nurses were rude if you asked a question, there was no compassion what so ever for peoples needs
The A&E department was no better than being in a third world country hospital it was a disgrace
I was satisfied.
Overall experience was good, some nurses lacked empathy or wanted to leave their work so the one joining in later do that for no reason
Food was good
Cleanliness was good
Tanya in emergency was proactive
Samita in recovery
After presenting myself to A&E at queens hospital I faced a lengthy 24 hour wait. I arrived in absolute agony and after my family member who attended with me asking 4 times and us waiting 4 hours I was finally given some pain medication which didn’t help at all. The staff were extremely rude, often forgot about patients and our needs.
After finally seeing a doctor I was wrongly diagnosed and told there was no infection present however once I stood my ground and asked to see a surgical team had further tests an infection was found and I was given antibiotics.
I am utterly disappointed in the NHS the level of care, respect and not to mention the unacceptable wait times of 12/24 hours!
Left in corridor for two days, unattended, no one checked on my husband, left him to it. He's 90 years of age, disgraceful.
Everyone from ambulance service to staff at hospital were all great no issues
I waited in a corridor for 12 hours without food and had to keep asking for a drink. The whole experience was appalling. I felt more ill when I left than when I went in.
No information on waiting time not kept updated on what was going on.
While having a canula put in 3 other nurses came in and started to argue while one was taking my blood
